The West Country Farmhouse Cheesemakers Group is to officially re-launch a new interactive version of their website www.farmhousecheesemakers.com for cheddar lovers on 1st May, demonstrating that these traditional dairy farmers appreciate the importance of keeping up with the latest in web technology.
The group, who were behind the creation of the hugely successful www.cheddarvision.tv website last year, have redesigned the site reflecting this innovative idea. The site is interactive and brings together the characters and traditions behind the creation of quality handmade cheddar.
The new site, with its fresh look and design, uses short video clips of the farmers to tell the story of the traditional cheesemaking process. Each farmer from the group also gives users an insight to their farm, explaining their history of making real cheddar and the passion that goes into making it taste so great. Cheese lovers also have the option to order their handmade wedges from the online shop.
