West Country Farmhouse Cheddar now available in ASDA
Welcome to the West Country, ASDA shoppers – if you peruse the products at the pocket patting provender’s you’ll discover mature, extra mature and organic varieties of tasty handmade West Country Farmhouse Cheddar in the chiller cabinets. All three are now available in handy 200g and 400g blocks, great for sandwiches and cheese on toast. And they won't be hard to find - look out for the posters and promotions. The blocks are great value so cheese lovers can enjoy even more or share a little with friends and family. Maybe.
Royal ploughmans for the Countess
After last years washout , the sun shone brightly on The Countess of Wessex as she attended the PDO lunch and presented Parkham farms with cups for both the reserve champion cheese and best PDO West Country Farmhouse cheddar. The show was a triumph for our other farmhouse cheesemakers too with a total of 40 medals and 7 special awards, just rewards for all the care and craftsmanship that goes into all our handmade cheeses.
